Vice-Principal’s Message:
It is with much sadness that I must say goodbye to my Sunnybrae family. As I reflect on the past few years, my heart is full of gratitude for the time we’ve shared. Being your Vice Principal has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career, and I feel truly fortunate to have worked alongside such an incredible group of students, staff, and families. Every day here brought a student interaction that reminded me why I love education—the fun we shared, the willingness to learn, the creativity in classrooms, and the way we come together to support one another. I will always cherish the moments when we solved challenges as a team, celebrated achievements big and small, and created a school environment where kindness and learning thrive. Although it’s hard to leave, I will carry the lessons and friendships from this community with me always. Please know that I will continue cheering for your success from afar. Thank you for welcoming me so warmly and for allowing me to be part of your journey. Especially thanks to the school council who jumped on board with my wild plans for theatre productions and supported your children and me every step of the way. I wish you all continued growth, joy, and success, and a very happy holiday. With heartfelt appreciation, Heather Owen
